I have to admit that this 3rd season in the Idolish7 installment put so much effort in this with the whole story and glad this was in 2 parts to cover a lot.
And like going back to rivalry between Idolish7 and TRIGGER with the concert faceoff which the only sad thing about this is needed more focus on TRIGGER's performance then splitting of the other characters for the story.

But this is a good point to end it at S3 and hoping for another season but most likely it take another couple of years though.

But yeah, I believe this series is definitely one of the best, if not the best male idol anime. I'm glad it's this well made.

This season definitely surpassed my expectations since it's a long season which I think the story installment takes the biggest chunk in it's game and I'm just suspecting since I don't play that at all.

I personally consider Idolish7 the best male idol anime, although there are other very good idol animes, but non of them got such a well written plot and amazing songs like this one. I basically downloaded all of their songs lol

(Known for Aldnoah.Zero franchise, Yagate Kimi ni Naru, Lord El-Melloi II series + ova, ofc the previous seasons of Idolish7, and two orginals of Re:Creators and that pos ninja series of last season anime Shinobi no Ittoki.)

Personal thoughts: This is a good music idol drama to get into even though it's most shortcoming is too much never ending drama. OST are always good and consistent animation which is always peaking higher in the next season and even though it doesnt have the highest like fan base for the anime it's a good watch and always gets a 7.5/10 from me.

Lol Yuki and Momo having to read out the rules like little kids was amusing.

It's sad that there were viewers/fans that had the same concerns as that girl because of the "Fixed race" business but like Yaotome said, they won't get easily manipulated by that once they see their performances and he was proved correct with how earnestly everyone enjoyed the performances and how they were struggling who to vote for.

It was great to see TRIGGER on a huge stage again and I love how shocked and surprised they were after they won. Hopefully we'll get to see their activities go back to how it used to be so they can continue proving why they were and are top idols.

I'm glad Touma is regaining his senses as to why he wanted to be an idol in the first place. I think his attitude should start changing and we'll see a better version of himself soon enough. It was funny how Minami pointed out to Haruka that he's acting jealousy of Tenn, I'm glad he did because for someone who despises Tenn so much, he gives him a lot of his undivided attention.

It's so sad to see Nagi looking so down, he's really going to leave Idolish7, isn't he? He even said since his number is gone, Riku will be able to fill for him as his kanji in his name is used for six too. Even Tamaki noticed Nagi was going to do something unfavorable! The following arc is going to be filled with drama from the start I bet.

I had no idea this was the last episode of this season when I finished the episode, there's still so much story to unravel from here. I hope we get an announcement soon. But this was such a fun season to watch and I can't wait for the next one.

All I'm hoping for now is a season 4 announcement to drop asap TvT

I loved this season so much! It felt like every episode was better than the last. I'm glad that TRIGGER won because I honestly preferred their performance and song but Idolish7 was good too.

If I had to pick a favorite episode, however, it would have be the one where Sougo opens up on the radio show. I teared up so much because I was waiting for his story and the resolution was so good! It also gave us Tamaki's emotional intelligence as well so I loved it. MEZZO is my favorite group after RE: VALE so I may be biased though.

My favorite character would be Momo! He is so well developed. I found him actually hitting Yuki to be both funny and great development for him, showing that he doesn't have him on that high pedestal anymore. His personality is just great too.

Overall, my ranking for the seasons so far would be:
1) Third BEAT (Part 1)
2) Third BEAT (Part 2)
3) Second Beat
4) Season 1 (First BEAT lol?)
5) Vibrato
Fifth place isn't bad. It's just that it was my least favorite season. I still like Vibrato a lot for giving TRIGGER's backstory and what happened to Tamaki, Yamato and Nagi that day they were late.

So that's my "review" for this season! I hope everyone enjoyed it as much or more than I did!

I’m so glad Trigger won!!! Their performance and song was as the characters in the show said, just amazing and perfect. No offence i7 was good too but if they won, I would have called it plot armour. It wasn’t a fixed race to begin with and I’m proud that Trigger proved that with their performance.

I also love Re:Vale so much! Senpais that always protect their Kouhais. Their relationship is the most precious, I love the dynamics between Momo and Yuki. Their songs are my most favourite too.

I can’t wait to get into the Nagi business next season. Bad ass Nagi is always my favourite. Looking forward to seeing the boys next season

didn't know how focused I am with the main story as a whole that I didn't notice when S2P2 of the anime actually ended xDD It took me now, to rewatch and check if they really ended instead of just going on a break again then never coming back loool S4 c'moon I hate how their story makes me cry but I'm always in for it. (oh no I'm starting to cry again after remembering what we'll be in for for the next seasons 😵)

edit: okay looking at the stage again when they announced the winner...I felt bad for the girl band HAHA the guys were shaking hands, and pretty much acted like they were the only ones competing this whole time pLSss T__T (no, I understand that ofc, they are each other's main prey + acknowledges the fact that they are their strongest competitors, I just want to point that out coz its kinda hilarious xDD)
